Red "bump" after ingrown toenail surgery

Hello, about 6 weeks ago, I had my Left side of my right toenail removed because it was ingrown. I went back a week later and the doc cleaned it out and then had me come back two weeks later. I went to that appointment and he noticed that I had a little bump that seemed to be growing almost UP from what i can explain. It was in the corner closest to the cuticle. He said it was growth due to some tissue that was left behind. He then numbed it, cut it out, and lazered it...all for the 2nd time. A week later, same thing...went in for a check up, he cleaned it, put the purple stuff on it and told me to come back in two more weeks.
